The 2006 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay was the last year Purple Cow Vineyards produced this particular varietal. This particular Chardonnay is a soft wine that highlights the fruit with a nice touch of oak. This is the perfect expression of Chardonnay in my opinion. Butter, pear, and melon on the nose. Light enough body to make some think it’s all stainless production.
