2005 Tempranillo Reserve

I've been getting some questions regarding whether or not there is a 2005 Tempranillo Reserve in the works.  -  [pause for dramatic effect]...there is.  We've been letting it happily age in the barrels.  We're up to about 34 months now.  I think we'll look to bottle it in August if we can schedule the time.  The extra time in the barrel has done good things for the nose and traded in some tannins to get there.  This is will be a wine that is ready to drink almost immediately but will not age as long in the bottle as the Elena Edition.  There should be about 125 cases.  I'll update everyone as soon as we have a schedule, and I'll put some context around what you can expect from a bottle of this as well.  Everyone rest assured that we're trying to replicate that 2004 Tempranillo Reserve you loved so much.  Cheers, -Jon-

The Tractor is back

How long was it?  I'll have to check the previous post.  Seems to be working.  Many thanks to Alfredo at Apolloni Vineyards for letting us borrow their rig during our down time.  It certainly saved us from an outbreak of all kinds of diseases through that warm and humid phase we had over the past couple weeks.  -Jon-
