The 2012 Søren –Thunder of God- is another blend from the out of the box winemakers at Purple Cow Vineyards!
This wine is named after Dave’s son Søren. One of the meanings of Søren in Danish is “Thunder of God”. With Dave’s 3 favorite big bold varietals used for this blend it was fitting to name it after his son. Otherwise “Dave’s Killer Blend” might have been mistaken for bread at the grocery store.
This “Big Bold Blend” is made up of Teroldego (50%), Durif (31%), and Petit Verdot (19%).
For those who love our Teroldego, Durif and Petit Verdot this is an amazing trip through all three of those worlds at once.
This blend is ready to drink now or cellar if you have cellar patience to keep your hands off of it. This is a New Release so try it and draw your own conclusions and let us know.
